A scavenger for top emission type organic electro-luminescence device is provided to have high oxygen scavenge performance and excellent optical property and convenience in management, and to be arranged in light extraction part of the EL device by comprising particular compounds with specific formula and binder dissolved in a solvent. A scavenger comprises a compound represented by the formula of R1R2R3M wherein R1,R2 and R3 are the same or different from each other and independently selected from hydrogen atom, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, circular alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, carboxyl, thiolate and secondary amino group to have at least one M-C bond, and M is aluminum or boron. The scavenger is prepared by dissolving the compound with the above formula in a solvent together with a binder. The scavenger is introduced into a light extraction part of a top-emission type organic EL device. |
