Composition for Diagnosing Circulating Tumor Cells and Method for Detecting Circulating Tumor Cells Using the Same

PURPOSE: A composition for diagnosing circulating tumor cells (CTC) is provided to quickly and efficiently capture high purity circulating tumor cells. CONSTITUTION: A composition for diagnosing CTC contains: nanoparticles containing a primary antibody which specifically binds to CTC; and magnetic beads containing a secondary antibody which binds to the primary antibody. A method for detecting CTC comprises the steps of: making the nanoparticles react with a sample containing CTC; centrifuging the reactant solution and removing unreacted nanoparticles; adding the magnetic beads and a buffer solution; and isolating nanoparticles conjugated with the primary antibody attached to the magnetic beads conjugated with CTC and the secondary antibody using a magnet.
