Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a beta-alumina sintered body. The method for manufacturing a beta-alumina sintered body comprises the steps of: providing mixed powder including sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), thallium oxide (Ta2O5), sodium hydrogen carbonate (NaHCO3), magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2), alumina (Al2O3), and yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ); wet blending a mixture including the mixed powder, a binder and a dispersing agent using a ball mill; spraying and drying the mixture; molding granular powder manufactured in the spraying and drying step into a predetermined shaped molded body; and sintering the molded body.
