The invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for producing high-quality ingots of the foamed aluminum with a uniform distribution of spherical cells and the increased level of mechanical properties, in particular, the energy of absorption of mechanical energy for the use in various fields of industry, including civil and industrial construction, shipbuilding, aviation industry and transport. Aluminum or its alloys are melted in a mold at a temperature not lower than the liquidus temperature, the melt mixing is carried out in an air medium during 30≤τ≤40, at that mixing is carried out with a formation of matrix of clusters from nano- and submicrosize particles of alumina at a temperature, which ensures their neutral wetting, then, without the mixing interrupting, the substance extracting the gas during thermal dissociation is added, the melt foaming is carried out with following cooling thereof in the mold. |
