METHOD FOR DECREASING HYPERTONUS OF PARAVERTEBRAL MUSCLES IN COMBAT ATHLETES

The method for decreasing hypertonus of paravertebral muscles in the combat athletes comprises the self-distraction of the backbone by its marginal kiphosing in the specified positions. Beforehand, electromyotonometry of symmetrical paravertebral points corresponding to V16 and V24 acupuncture points is provided followed by the warming massage of the paravertebral muscles for 5 min. The complex of the exercises with forward and upward movements of the pelvis and rhythmical movements of head and trunk are performed until the fatigue. Then electromyotonometry of the stated symmetrical paravertebral points is provided again. The state of myotonus of the symmetrical paravertebral points is indicative of the relaxation of the backbone muscles.
