A system and a method for body pressure distribution analysis according to the present invention comprises: an input unit for selecting sensor resolution and an analysis type and receiving user body information; an adjusting unit for adjusting the location of body grid of a seat back and a seat pan; a measurement unit for measuring the body pressure of the body grid; an analysis unit for classifying seating types of users using the body pressure of the body grid and analyzing difference between the body pressure of the body grid and preset reference body pressure distribution; a database for storing the preset reference body pressure distribution, preferred seating body pressure distribution, the body pressure of the body grid measured by the measurement unit, the seating types classified by the analysis unit, and the difference between the body pressure of the body grid and the preset reference body pressure distribution; and an output unit for outputting the seating types classified by the analysis unit, the body pressure of the body grid, and the difference between the body pressure of the body grid and the preset reference body pressure distribution. The seating types and the difference between the body pressure of the body grid and the preset reference body pressure distribution can be provided on a display screen.
