The device (30) has a guide chain (35) that comprises a set of links (40), and a set of joints (50) with two degrees of rotational freedom around a rotation axis and another rotation axis that is orthogonal to the former axis. Each link comprises a body (41) defining a hollow internal space. A pair of rollers (43) is arranged parallel to a direction of the link, and another pair of rollers (45) is arranged parallel to another direction of the link. Each joint is arranged with a passage with regard to the internal space of the link, where the passage is crossed by a suspension cable (20).
