<p>The invention relates to a pre-assembled mask that limits the handling operations to be carried out during the procedures for treating surfaces in several steps. One subject of the invention is a device intended to mask a portion of a surface during an operation that comprises several steps, carried out on this surface, this device comprising: i) a mask comprising a film (1), the contour of which adopts the form of said portion to be masked, and the lower face of which that will be applied to said surface to be masked is provided with an at least partially removable protective sheet, and ii) at least one flange (3) removably bonded to the edge of the upper face of the film (1) and the outer border (5) of which follows the contour of said film. Preferably, three removable adhesive flanges of decreasing width which can be removed successively are superposed. The invention also relates to a process for protecting areas not affected by a treatment of the neighbouring surfaces.</p> |
