An electronic module (1) comprises a quartz or MEMS resonator (3) defined in at least one external surface of a resonator case (5) having an electric contact pad (15) so that the resonator can be electrically connected. A printed circuit board (6) is also provided to carry the resonator case (5), and the printed circuit board comprises an electric connection terminal (18) for connecting the resonator case to the electric contact pad (15). The resonator case (5) is fixed in case structures (6, 9) of the electronic module (1) through at least one mechanical impact damping element (7). The mechanical impact damping element (7) may be an elastomer element including a metal wire (17) for the electric connection of the resonator case (5) while crossing the printed circuit board (6). |
