<p>The present technique is related to an image processing device and method, and a program capable of capturing an image by only a regular trigger pulse signal even if a noise signal is supplied mixed with the regular trigger pulse signal when obtaining a trigger pulse signal from the outside and capturing an image. A trigger pulse receiving unit (51) receives a trigger pulse signal or a noise signal from a trigger pulse generation unit (33), an exposure start signal generation unit (53) generates an exposure start signal, and a counter (55) starts counting of the count value (C). An exposure control unit (54) starts the exposure of an image capturing unit (57) in response to the exposure start signal. After the reception of a pulse signal is completed, when it is determined, based on the count value (C) of the counter (55), that an input pulse signal is a regular trigger pulse signal, the exposure control unit (54) controls the image capturing unit (57) to output the captured image. The present technique is applicable to factory automation systems.</p> |
