The dental tool has a rotatably drivable main shaft (2) that is passed through a guide housing (3), where a carriage (4) is slidably guided in the guide housing. Two projecting saw blades (5) for generation of the recesses are arranged on the main shaft facing away from the lower side of the carriage. A unit (6,7) is provided between the main shaft and the carriage for transmitting a rotational movement of the main shaft into a linear movement of the carriage. The saw blades are inclined to one another or are offset from one another in the longitudinal direction of the carriage.
