PURPOSE: An oligoalginate lyase is provided to produce unsaturated monosaccharide by completely saccharifying aginate, decompose unsaturated or saturated oligoalginate, and ensure synergistic effect by combination. CONSTITUTION: An oligoalginate lyase is derived from Saccharophagus degradans with an amino acid sequence of number 1. The enzyme decomposes aginic acid, unsaturated oligoalginate, or saturated oligoalginate. A gene encodes the enzyme. A recombinant vector expresses the enzyme. A transformant is prepared by transforming with the recombinant vector. A method for preparing the enzyme comprises a step of isolating and purifying the enzyme from a transformant culture. A method for producing unsaturated monosaccharides comprises a step of reacting the enzyme with alginic acid, unsaturated oligoalginate, or saturated oligoalginate. |
