PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive pancake coil capable of suppressing distortion caused by deformation of a superconductive wire when receiving electromagnetic stress.SOLUTION: In a single pancake coil 11A, a tape-like superconductive wire 12 in which an intermediate layer and a superconductive layer made of a rare earth-based oxide superconductor are formed on a base plate, is wound to form a coil 13. A peripheral frame 14 for suppressing expansion of a diameter of the coil 13 is provided on a periphery of the coil 13. The peripheral frame 14 is made from a metal, to which a fiber-reinforced resin or an insulating coat is applied. An upper regulation frame 15 and a lower regulation frame 16 for regulating movement of the peripheral frame 14 are provided on both end faces in the axial direction of the coil 13. Also, a mold layer 23 made of a mold material such as paraffin is formed in the peripheral part and an upper part of the coil 13. |
