PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing structure, optical scanning device, and image formation system capable of ensuring sealability for an interior of a housing over time.SOLUTION: In a housing structure of a unit to be disposed in an image formation system such as an optical writing unit 4 including: a housing such as an optical housing 100 that has a component incorporated therein and has an opening; a cover member such as an upper cover member 120 that covers the opening of the housing; fixing means for fixing the cover member to the housing; and a seal member 121 that is interposed between the cover member and housing, is compressively deformed through fixing of the cover member to the housing, and thus seals an interspace between the cover member and the housing, plural pieces of fixing means that cause the seal member in an initial state to undergo different quantities of compressive deformation when the cover member is fixed to the housing are included.
