The adjustable suspension piece for wall-mounted furniture, such as cupboards, has a flat housing pref. fixed to the inside of the cupboard. A support arm moves in a lengthwise direction in the housing and is pivot mounted in a crosswise direction, and can be fixed in the required position. A fixture in the form of a screw acts in conjunction witt the support arm. The screw fits into a nut and has a slit; the screw's diameter is roughly that of the width of the support arm. The nut protrudes sideways into a cavity in the housing. The screw projects beyond the front part of the housing and its shaft fits into a vertical elongated hole, with its head resting on the outside of the front part of the housing. An adjustment piece possesses a curved disc with a smooth outer surface.
