PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately acquire positional information by GPS and to perform acquisition update of information related to application programs while saving power.SOLUTION: A mobile terminal device 1 comprises: an instruction unit 11 for instructing execution of a variety of application programs; a display unit 6 for displaying the variety of application programs; and a communication unit 9 for receiving the variety of information. Moreover, the mobile terminal device 1 comprises a detection unit 10 for detecting whether the mobile terminal device 1 and a user make a contact or not. The detection unit 10 calculates a detection result of if a first sensor and a second sensor have detected a contact state per prescribed time. The communication unit 9 updates position information and map information if the detection result is a value indicating the contact state. The display unit 6 darkens the brightness of a display screen if the detection result is not the value indicating the contact state. |
