PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an adsorbent where a metal in a liquid, especially a heavy metal in a waste water is rapidly adsorbed, then can be efficiently recovered, safety is high, a material whose acquisition is easy can be used, production and use are simple, and economic potential is high; and a recovery method of the heavy metal using the same.SOLUTION: A heavy metal adsorbent includes dead bacterial cells of basidiomycetes, and a recovery method of the heavy metal includes a process in which the heavy metal adsorbent including the heavy metal is made to contact with an acidic liquid, thereby the heavy metal is recovered in the acidic liquid. |
