PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a painting apparatus capable of easily performing painting of a large structure.SOLUTION: A painting apparatus 10 includes: an apparatus body 11 provided with a painting head 12 for spraying paint 4 from a nozzle 13 to a surface 1 to be painted, to perform painting, and fixed to the surface 1 to be painted; a paint supply device 21 installed outside of the apparatus body 11, for supplying the paint to the nozzle 13; and a hose unit 22 connected from the paint supply device 21 to the painting head 12. The apparatus body 11 includes: a fixing jig 15 for supporting the painting head 12; a pair of running rails 17, 17 arranged parallel to the surface 1 to be painted and parallel with each other; an actuator 16 for driving the fixing jig 15 to reciprocate between the pair of running rails 17, 17; and a fixing part 20 for fixing the pair of running rails 17, 17 to the surface 1 to be painted, so as to be separated from the surface 1 to be painted respectively. Both ends of the actuator 16 are slidable in parallel along the pair of running rails 17, 17. |
