PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defecation assist device being mounted on an assist handrail at a side of a western-style toilet seat, assisting a user straining during defecation, and preventing the user from falling forward the toilet seat.SOLUTION: The defecation assist device according to the present invention is mounted on an assist handrail 3 installed at the side face of a toilet seat 1. An assist arm A-4 can be fixed to any position in front of a user and the user maintains a defecation posture by holding the arm. The assist arm is used as an aid for putting some muscle into the abdominal and functions for preventing the user from falling forward the toilet seat. |
