The predetermined voltages are respectively applied to circuits (C1,C2). The optical radiation is emitted by optical transmitter (2) of circuit (C1). The optical radiation emitted by optical transmitter is received by optical receiver (3) of circuit (C2). A measured value of circuit (C2) is read out from the ionizing radiation. A fallen radiation dose of the optical coupler (1) is determined. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) device of measuring ionizing radiation; and (2) method for calibration of measurement device.
