A spindle motor, according to the present invention, comprises: a bearing housing; a rotary shaft which is rotatably supported by the bearing housing; a turntable which is fixed to the rotary shaft so as to rotate with the rotary shaft, and on which a disk is seated; a rotor which is installed on a rotor installation portion that is integrally formed with the turntable; and a stator which is arranged on the inner surface of the rotor with a specific distance therebetween, and which is fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the bearing housing, thereby reducing the number of parts, reducing manufacturing cost, and reducing noise and vibration from the motor. |
