A wind power generator of an over wind speed blocking type is provided. The wind power generator for generating electricity using wind of the present invention comprises: a rotary shaft with a predetermined length; a plurality of rotary wings each having a fixing end as an inner end assembled to be fixed to the outer surface of the rotary shaft, and a wind body extending from the fixing end to a free end as an outer end from the arc-shaped cross section view to be rotated with the rotary shaft in one direction by wind power; a power generating unit having a rotor provided at one of both ends of the rotary shaft and a stator facing the rotor to generate an induced current; and an operating unit each provided with an airflow control panel having one end rotatably assembled to one side end of at least one opening penetrated on the wing body by a hinge pin, and pulling or releasing a wire member having one end connected to the other end of the airflow control panel so as to completely shut or open the opening. When over wind measured through the rotary shaft rotated with the rotary wings is greater than or equal to a specified value, the releasing operation of the operating unit causes the free end of the airflow control panel for opening the opening to be close to another adjacent rotary wing to reduce the amount of wind flowing into through a gap between the rotary wings adjacent to each other, thereby decreasing the rotational speed of the rotary shaft. |
