The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a thin film by using a dual roll type thin film caster and, more specifically, to a dual roll type thin film casting method capable of ensuring the surface quality of the thin film to be excellent when the dual roll type thin film is cast. To achieve the present invention, the dual roll type thin film casting method including: a step of forming a thin sheet by injecting molten steel between a pair of casting rolls rotating mutually in the opposite directions; and a step of manufacturing a hot-rolled sheet by passing the thin film through an atmosphere maintenance chamber and rolling the thin sheet with a rolling roll. The casting roll processes the surface by using a short ball with the diameter of 2.8 mm or more. In the event of the rolling, the coefficient of friction between the rolling roll and the steel sheet is 0.1 to 0.25.
