PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF module capable of achieving law compliance and convenience deterioration suppression with simple configurations.SOLUTION: The RF module 1 includes: an antenna 70; a reception section 40; a transmission section 30 and a control section 10 for controlling the reception section 40 and the transmission 30, in which the control section 10 compares a reception power to be determined on the basis of the size of a signal extracted by the reception section 40 with a carrier sense threshold to perform carrier sense. The RF module 1 includes an antenna resonance frequency adjustment section 60 capable of electrically separating the antenna 70 from the reception section 40. Prior to the execution of the carrier sense, a noise level Wm1 of the reception section 40 is measured in a state that the resonance frequency of the antenna 70 is largely shifted from the channel of the carrier sense by the antenna resonance frequency adjustment section 60. A difference between the noise lever Wm1 and a noise lever Wn at a normal temperature preliminarily stored in a storage section 80 is calculated, and a reference carrier sense threshold is corrected with correction amounts corresponding to the difference. |
