PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact optical system having a small number of lenses, reducing the generation of ghost and flare, achieving high performance, and having small aberrations, and an imaging device and a method of manufacturing the optical system.SOLUTION: An optical system OS includes a front group GF and a rear group GR with positive refractive power. At least one surface among optical surfaces in the above groups is provided with an antireflection film which includes at least one layer formed by using a wet process. The front group GF includes a first lens component LFP with positive refractive power, a second lens component LFN1 with negative refractive power in which a positive lens and a negative lens are cemented and whose convex surface is directed toward the object side, and a third lens component LFN2 with negative refractive power whose concave surface is directed toward the object side. The rear group GR includes a first lens component LRN in which a negative lens and a positive lens are cemented and whose concave surface is directed toward the object side, a second lens component LRP1 with positive refractive power whose concave surface is directed toward the image side, and a third lens component LRP2 with positive refractive power. |
