PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of an elevator to be an object of remote monitoring.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring support device 120 counts the number of start times on the basis of a start signal, and stores the counted number of start times in a storage part each time the start signal is outputted when a cage 102 provided in an elevator 101 is driven is acquired from a control board 110 for controlling the operation of the elevator 101, and subsequently transmits information about the number of the start times stored in the storage part to a management server computer 130 in the case of receiving a diagnosis instruction to instruct a transmission of information about a state of the elevator 101 from the management server computer 130.
