PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate cutter which can more surely cut a gate by inhibiting the occurrence of gate cutting failure.SOLUTION: A gate cutter includes: a cylinder part 10 which accommodates a piston 15 therein; a nipper part 20 which is formed by rotatably connecting first and second blade bodies 21, 22, and mounted to the cylinder part 10 so as to perform opening/closing operation by the movement of the piston 15; and a control part which controls the drive of the piston 15 in the cylinder part 10. In the closing operation of the nipper part 20, when a detection signal based on arriving of the piston 15 at a stroke end is input, the control part stops the movement of the piston 15 for stopping the closing operation. |
