<p>A liquid crystal display device, comprising: a backlight source (1); a cholesteric liquid crystal film layer having a first rotation direction (2) located on the upper side of the backlight source (1) functioning as a light-emitting surface; an array substrate (3) located on the upper side of the cholesteric liquid crystal film layer having the first rotation direction (2); a colour film substrate (5) located on the upper side of the array substrate (3); and a cholesteric liquid crystal layer having a second rotation direction (4) sandwiched between the array substrate (3) and the colour film substrate (5), the first rotation direction being opposite to the second rotation direction. The liquid crystal display device increases the light efficiency, so that the transmittance of the display device is greatly improved, and the process steps and production costs are reduced.</p> |
