A liquid crystal display panel (100) and a display device using same. The liquid crystal display panel (100) comprises a first substrate (110), a second substrate (120), and a liquid crystal layer (130). The liquid crystal layer (130) is formed between the first substrate (110) and the second substrate (120). The second substrate (120) comprises pixels (124). Each pixel (124) comprises a primary pixel area (101) and a secondary pixel area (102). A first ratio of the line width to line spacing of a pixel branch (104) in the primary pixel area (101) is different from a second ratio of the line width to line spacing of a pixel branch (106) in the secondary pixel area (102). The problems of color cast and aperture ratio decline of the liquid crystal display panel (100) can be mitigated.
