PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve noise mixture into a radio reception device and prevent deterioration of transmission power when transmitting electric power in a non-contact manner by transmitting an electromagnetic wave.SOLUTION: A power transmission apparatus 10 for a vehicle includes: a power transmission device 12 which transmits power to a power receiving device 22 of a portable device 2 by transmitting an electromagnetic wave to the portable device 2; and a control unit 11 which changes a transmission frequency of the electromagnetic wave transmitted from the power transmission device 12 when it is determined that radio noise is generated by the power transmission device 12 on the basis of the transmission frequency of the electromagnetic wave transmitted from the power transmission device 12 to the portable device 2 and a reception frequency of a radio reception device 3. The power transmission device 12 changes transmission power of the electromagnetic wave on the basis of the amount of change of the transmission frequency of the electromagnetic wave changed by the control unit 11.
