PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head capable of sending liquid to discharge ports with small energy and having a structure in which adhesion between a flow path forming member and a substrate is good and liquid does not easily overflow onto a liquid discharge surface.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes discharge ports 5 for discharging liquid, recessed portions 9 each having the discharge port 5 disposed inside thereof, discharge portions each serving as a path directed toward the discharge port 5, and liquid flow paths for each supplying liquid to the discharge portion. The discharge portion and the liquid flow path are arranged to respectively extend in directions crossing each other, and each of a plane shape, as viewed from the discharge port 5, of a connection portion of the discharge portion and the liquid flow path and a plane shape of the recessed portion 9 is an elliptical shape having a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion. |
