PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a candlestick capable of quickly and surely extinguishing fire of a mounted candle in a case of overturning due to shaking of an earthquake or the like, even in an easy structure.SOLUTION: A candlestick 1 capable of extinguishing fire of a candle at overturning includes an inner vessel 2 holding a candle 4, and an outer vessel 3 arranged outside the inner vessel 2 and connected to the inner vessel 2 in a rotatable manner. The inner vessel 2 has an opening 2a upward the projection side of the core of the candle 4 while surrounding the periphery of the candle 4. The outer vessel 3 is arranged at a position of not covering the opening 2a of the inner vessel 2 at non-overturning, relatively rotates with respect to the inner vessel 2 at overturning, and is deviated to a position of covering the opening 2a of the inner vessel 2. |
