PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring head in which an adjusting screw for offsetting a cutter in an axial direction does not decrease the stability of the boring head.SOLUTION: Two cutter holders 3 and 4 are attached to a tool body so as to be offset by 180 degrees from each other. The cutter holders 3 and 4 are slidably attached to a clamp surface 11 so as to adjust a cutter 5 in a radius direction, and comprise two set screws 15 which serve as stoppers for determining the radial positions of the cutter holders 3 and 4, are fixed to the tool body 2, and are respectively attached to the holders 16 present at positions 180 degrees apart from each other. The set screws 15 and the holders 16 are disposed in corresponding recessed portions formed in the lower surfaces of the cutter holders 3 and 4. |
