PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means by which desired peak power consumption can be obtained.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has a first mode to warm up a fixing unit at predetermined peak power consumption, and a second mode to warm up the fixing unit at peak power consumption lower than that of the first mode. The image forming apparatus has an operation part that receives an operation to select in advance the first mode or the second mode, and a control part that controls warm-up of the fixing unit on the basis of the selection operation received with the operation part. |
