1526109 Filled polyorganosiloxanes BAYER AG 6 Aug 1976 [7 Aug 1975] 32850/76 Heading C3T Filled polyorganosiloxanes are formed by mixing the siloxane, water, a modifier (R 3 Si) n X (R=up to C 10 substituted or unsubstituted saturated or aliphatic unsubstituted hydrocarbon radial; X=Ha, N, S, OH, OR, OOCR, NH or NR; n= 1, 2 or 3), and highly disperse active silica of specific surface area at least 50 m<SP>2</SP>/g. and subsequently cold curing the mixture. The modifier is preferably added before the silica. The mixtures result in uniform storage-stable distribution of the filler without recourse to dispersing agents or surface-treatment of the filler. |
