Impregnation of beams or planks, or other pieces of wood, involves forcing a fluid impregnating medium into injection holes. An injection head is set on the opening of the hole, and stretched around the surrounding area with a sealing effect, by means of a loop shackle gripping the piece of wood. Impregnating medium is then pressed into the hole from a pressure container, through the injection head. The container may feed a number of injection heads set on holes simultaneously. The injection heads (2) can be mounted on a clamping loop shackle (1), and fitted with an injection aperture (7) with a sealing rim (8) around it. The aperture can be formed on a conical attachment (6) protruding beyond the sealing edge.
|
