A DPF regeneration method of an exhaust gas post treatment device is disclosed. The DPF regeneration method of an exhaust gas post treatment device according to the present invention comprises a heating step for raising the DPF front end temperature to a target temperature necessary for regeneration; and a regeneration step of combusting PM (particulate matter) captured in DPF by using the high temperature heat raised to the target temperature through the heating step. The gist of the present invention is that when the DPF front end temperature does not reach the minimum temperature necessary for regeneration during a preset time period in the heating step, a control for reducing the fuel consumption is performed.
