The present invention relates to an apparatus for ocular treatment in which the structure is improved to interrupt change of irradiation location of therapeutic beam when irradiating a therapeutic area with the therapeutic beam, and to a control method thereof. The apparatus for ocular treatment according to the present invention comprises: a beam generation unit which generates therapeutic beam; a beam delivery unit which irradiates the ocular therapeutic area with the therapeutic beam provided from the beam generation unit and adjusts irradiation location of the therapeutic beam; and a stopper unit which restricts change of the irradiation location by the beam delivery unit in order to maintain preset irradiation location while the ocular treatment area is irradiated with the therapeutic beam. Therefore, the apparatus for ocular treatment reduces treatment errors and risks during ocular treatmet by restricting operation of the beam delivery unit which adjusts the irradiation location of the therapeutic beam while the ocular treatment area is irradiated with the therapeutic beam.
