The system (1) has a guide landing gear (2) and subordinated landing gear (3) having respective wheels (4) that are driven by respective electric motors (5,15). A detecting unit is used for detecting an angular deviation of the subordinated landing gear with respect to the guide landing gear. A switch unit is configured to switch ON/OFF the electric motor (15) based on angular deviation of subordinated landing gear. A pipe line (7) with water outlet openings, is clamped between the gears. A power control unit (14) is configured to control the driving power of electric motor (5). An independent claim is included for method for controlling sprinkler system.
