<p>Techniques are provided for automatic identification of a trending topic within a social software enterprise platform. The trending topic comprises a topic that includes content relating to a threshold amount of activities associated with participants of the platform. A trending topic community within the platform is automatically generated in response to the trending topic meeting a threshold criteria, and participants identified as being associated with the trending topic are automatically invited to join as members of the trending topic community.</p> |
