PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a weight and a dimension of an engine 1 by dispensing with a flywheel housing as a heavy object, while including a rotation angle detecting member 126 detecting a rotation angle of an output shaft 3.SOLUTION: The engine device includes the rotation angle detecting member 126 detecting the rotation angle of the output shaft 3 in the engine 1, and a pulser 122 for the output shaft disposed on a flywheel 11 of the engine 1. A mounting plat 10 supporting a starter 18 for starting the engine, at one side portion of the flywheel 11 side of the engine 1, is disposed while positioned between one end portion of the engine 1 and the flywheel 11, the rotation angle detecting member 126 is disposed on the mounting plate 10, and the rotation angle detecting member 126 is opposed to a side face facing one end portion of the engine 1, of the pulser 122 for the output shaft. |
