PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical structure containing nanocrystals enabling simple and efficient dispersion of an excitation light source and coupling to a very efficient reduction element.SOLUTION: A light emitting structure 10 contains nanocrystals on a surface of an optical waveguide in such a manner that an optical field of light traveling through the optical waveguide 30 is coupled with nanocrystals 41a and 41b and radiation from the nanocrystals is generated.
