摘要 <p>The objective of the present invention is to provide a control device for an internal combustion engine that enables precise control of the equivalence ratio. The system from the fuel injection amount (Gfuel) to the output (Ølaf) from a LAF sensor is modeled as an injection amount-sensor output model by means of a model equation containing model parameters (A, B) and a lag coefficient (C). The system from the equivalence ratio (Øexp) calculated using this model equation for the injection amount-sensor output model to the LAF sensor output (Ølaf) is modeled as a port equivalence ratio-sensor output model by means of a model equation containing the lag coefficient (C). The control device is equipped with: a feedback-use identifier (36) that successively indentifies values for the model parameters (A, B); a LAF lag compensation-use identifier (35) that successively identifies values for the lag coefficient (C) on the basis of the LAF sensor output (Ølaf); and a stoichiometric driving mode controller (37) that determines the value of a fuel injection amount (Gfuel_st) on the basis of the model parameters (A, B).</p>
