The damper (1) has an input terminal (3) whose first end is rotatably connected to a stop. A hammer flange is rotationally and fixedly connected to an output terminal. The hammer flange comprises engaging portions (6) extending along a radial direction (7) to an end of a spring (10). An engagement portion comprises a guide section (16) that partly embraces the spring at the end along a circumferential direction. A case is provided in the guide section. The input terminal is adapted for connection to an input shaft. An independent claim is also included for a motor car.
