The invention relates to a kit for producing a dental product, comprising an impression tray (1, 20), which has a bottom (2, 21) adapted to a jaw shape, a preform (6, 25) arranged in or on the impression tray (1, 20) and adapted to a jaw shape at least in some sections for producing the dental product, the preform consisting of a thermoplastic film that is solid at body temperature, and a plastically deformable stamping mass (7, 26) arranged in or on the impression tray (1, 20) between the bottom (2, 21) of the impression tray (1, 20) and the preform (6, 25) at least in some sections. An element (8, 10, 27) that can collapse under pressure is arranged between the bottom of the impression tray (1, 20) and the stamping mass (7, 26) at least in some areas.
