<p>The present invention relate to an air tank purge control method. The method includes: a first step (S10) of compressing air using a compressor; a second step (S20) of removing moisture using a cartridge after compressing the air in the first step; a third step (S30) of storing the air from which moisture is removed in the second step in an air tank; a fourth step (S40) of measuring and determining the internal pressure of the air tank; a fifth step (S50) of turning on a first solenoid valve if the internal pressure of the air tank exceeds a certain value; a sixth step (S60) of determining if a second solenoid valve is ready to be turned on; a seventh step (S70) of turning on the second solenoid valve if the second solenoid valve is ready to be turned on; an eighth step (S80) of turning on a purge valve if the second solenoid valve is turned on in the seventh step and removing moisture in the air tank by enhancing the performance of the cartridge; a ninth step (S90) of re-measuring and determining the internal pressure of the air tank after removing moisture in the air tank in the eighth step; and a tenth step (S100) of turning off the first solenoid valve and the second solenoid valve if the internal pressure of the air tank is below a certain value. By doing so, the method is able to enhance the fuel efficiency and the durability as well as predict the replacement point of time for the cartridge, thereby improving the product marketability.
