PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensorless controller which does not require any special consideration of the observation of a current, while suppressing loss or noise due to a high frequency current for detecting the rotation angle of a rotor.SOLUTION: The controller includes a PWM processing unit 3 generating a gate command for an inverter by performing PWM modulation of a three-phase voltage command, a high frequency voltage calculation unit 8 for calculating at least one of a sine component and a cosine component having a plurality of frequencies equal to or higher than the PWM carrier frequency, contained in the gate command, and obtaining a high frequency voltage component, a high frequency current calculation unit 7 for calculating at least one of a sine component and a cosine component having a plurality of frequencies equal to or higher than the carrier frequency, contained in the current respondence value of a synchronous motor 5 driven by the inverter, and obtaining a high frequency current component, and an estimated angle calculation unit 9 for calculating an estimated phase angle indicating an estimate value of the rotation angle of the synchronous motor, based on the high frequency voltage component and high frequency current component. |
