PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a sintered wick capable of lowering flow resistance when a working fluid is supplied or discharged to a wick; and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A wick structure is formed by loading powder into a die member for determining an outer shape of the wick structure, followed by sintering. In at least part of a region in a sintered body obtained by the sintering which is contacted with the die member during the sintering, a surface layer thereof contacted with the die member is removed to form surfaces 6 and 7 that are rougher than the surface layer. |
