摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to build a polarized sensitive optical coherence tomography (PC-OCT) system with one laser configured to oscillate and output vertically and horizontally polarized light as well as crossing each other without using an additional optical modulator or two optical detectors for measuring vertically and horizontally polarized light separately. To achieve the purpose, a wavelength swept laser is disclosed according to one embodiment of the present invention. The disclosed wavelength swept laser may comprise a wavelength sweep unit for changing the wavelength of input light from λ1 to λ2; a polarized light split unit for splitting light output from the wavelength sweep unit to vertically polarized light and horizontally polarized light; a first light amplifying unit for amplifying the vertically polarized light; a second light amplifying unit for amplifying the horizontally polarized light; and a modulation signal generating unit for turning on or off the first and second light amplifying units sequentially.
