<p>Provided is an elongate material for hanging ceiling boards capable of being manufactured with high design characteristics and at a low cost. A locking edge section (4) to support an end of a ceiling board comprises a horizontal section (9) extending outwardly from the bottom end of a vertical side section (2) in both directions, a pair of suspended sections (10) respectively extending down from both outer ends of the horizontal section (9), a pair of rim sections (11) extending inwards from the bottom of each suspended section (10), and a longitudinal bottom groove (6) opening between the two rim sections (11). Furthermore, the locking edge section (4) is formed with a single painted metal plate (30) painted on both sides with different respective colors. One face of the painted metal plate (30) is exposed on the bottom face of the rim section (11), and the other face of the painted metal plate (30) is exposed on the bottom face of the horizontal section (9) and on the inner face of the suspended section (10).</p> |
